Disseny i aplicabilitat de la matriu de competències de les/dels professionals infermeres/rs del Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa: Part 1. Terrassa: Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa; 2014 N2 - The competency matrix is constituted as a basic instrument necessary to initiate people management processes aligned with professional development. Its construction started from the need to manage the nurses of a comprehensive health organization (which includes primary care, hospital, social health, and mental health fields) according to the area of nursing knowledge (ANK) in which they provide care as well as to their level of expertise in line with Patricia Benner's model. For the construction of the matrix or questionnaire, the three basic functions were considered: healthcare (which includes clinical management), teaching and research, as well as professional and institutional commitment. Qualitative methodology was used to elaborate its content with the participation of 215 nurses considered experts by their teams and who represented the 24 defined ANKs. 10 competencies were defined of which 4 are common to all nurses in the comprehensive organization and 6 are specific for each ANK. The matrix or questionnaire is displayed in the form of a tree, each competence is described from elements of competence (EC) and these from general expected behaviours (GEB) and specific expected behaviours (SEB) which have been allocated to a level of expertise ranging from beginner up to expert. In total, 44 EC, 189 GEB and 1224 SEB were defined and validated. Regarding the levels of expertise, 32.11% of the beginner level, 30.31% of the advanced beginner level, 23.94% of the proficient level, 8.25% of the advanced level and 5.39% expert level. In addition, a weighting of the common competencies was carried rating all ANKs with the same value. Moreover, the participant nurses of each ANK carried out a weighting of each specific competence according to the type of care UR - https://biblioteca.euit.fdsll.cat/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=49434 UR - https://docplayer.es/154694629-Disseny-i-aplicabilitat-d-una-matriu-de-competencies-de-les-dels-professionals-infermeres-rs-d-una-organitzacio-sanitaria-integral.html CY - Terrassa : AB - The competency matrix is constituted as a basic instrument necessary to initiate people management processes aligned with professional development.
